DEAR TEEN (Letter Template)

Let's be honest: Having a conversation with a teen can be tough sometimes.

Challenging.

Down right frustrating.

I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU...

I've done the work for you and created a fill-in-the-blank
letter for you to have an OPEN CONVERSATION WITH YOUR TEEN.

Good luck!

Josh

P.S. I'd love to hear your comments about how you use this letter.

  6. I’ve always gotten a lot out of your website, etc. I plan to use this letter with a parent group I’m addressing soon. However, just a comment, on the suggestion you placed in the parenthesis under “...but I think that you are____”. I would replace the word “attractive”. I feel it’s not appropriate especially for girls. You get it, I’m sure. Thanks for all that you do. I think you are great!

  10. Really love this template letter idea. It can be hard to have these conversations no matter who you are. I think the biggest thing is putting in the effort.

  11. Dear Josh,

Thanks for this letter template. I used to write my teenage daughters regularly using an interactive journal. Things were a little better then. Communication is minimal nowadays. I definitely will start the practice again and I’m starting with this letter. I appreciate all your great ideas.
